Kingsley Dean Frump (male dog)

Winston Bishop Strobel (male dog)

Kingsley Dean Frump is a very distinguished gentleman...except when you're outside the door and he's nonstop barking. Don't let him intimidate you, he's just impatient for you to get inside and give him lovings! King is the son of Tyler Frump and his stepdad Justin Ledford. Kingsley may look small & is often mistaken for a puppy, but he turns 6 on Christmas Day of 2024! He is a dog so cool he has his own business cards! Check out King's breed results from Embark, his likes & dislikes & more information about him at Behind Locked Doors.

Winston Bishop Strobel is a total goofball! Winston is the son of Kayla MaGraw and Travis Strobel. In March 2025, Winnie will turn two, but you couldn’t know that by his size. Since he is half-husky, Winston is a playful puppy with a heart of gold. He's got two cat siblings who think he's a playful menace (but secretly love him!). When he's not chasing his tail or playing with his toys, he's all about cuddles. Seriously, this guy loves a good cuddle session.

Tyler is the daughter of Tim Frump and local entrepreneur & philanthropist Pamela Moses. Tyler has been a resident of Taylorville nearly her entire life and graduated from Taylorville High School in 2013. She continued her education at Culver-Stockton College, where she completed her undergraduate degree in international business, accounting, & finance in 2017, along with finishing her masters degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting & finance in 2018. Upon completion of her degrees and a small stint in Springfield, Tyler moved back to Taylorville. Previously a skeptic of small town life due to past experiences, she took it upon herself to be a part of the change! Tyler wants to unite her community in supporting small businesses, especially women-owned!
Tyler loves to give back to her community & volunteers quite often. On Thursday evenings and sporadic days throughout the year, you can catch Tyler checking in clients at one of the front desks at the Taylorville Food Pantry! She has been a volunteer since 2012. She has also maintained her role since 2021 of president of IFBW, a local nonprofit that provides benefits to women in the Taylorville community in a multitude of different ways. She has been a member of this organization since 2013. In her free time outside of volunteer work, Tyler loves to spend time with her significant other & her dog, attend girls nights out with her good girl friends, hula-hoop, attend dance/music festivals, and travel the world. Tyler is passionate about displaying original designs, handcrafted clues, & locally resourced props in the escape rooms at Behind Locked Doors along side her best friend & Taylorville Manager, Kayla Magraw. She looks forward to bringing unique ideas to their escape games in the future. |
Kayla MaGraw is a lover of life... and food. Although she is originally from Union Missouri, she’s lived in Taylorville since 2021 and has really enjoyed laying down roots. Kayla enjoys spending time with her partner Travis Strobel, fur babies, family, and friends, volunteering at the Food Pantry, and serving as Vice President of IFBW, the local business women group. Being a bit of a media connoisseur, you can usually find her watching a documentary, lost in a good read, or belting out tunes.
Once graduating from Union High School, Kayla attended Culver Stockton College, getting her degree in Speech and Theatre Education. It’s here at Culver where Kayla and Tyler became friends and roommates, starting a friendship that has spanned over 10 years! After graduating in 2017, Kayla started working for Behind Locked Doors in Quincy, where she eventually became manager. In 2019, Kayla decided to return to school, going on to receive a Masters in Theatre from Fontbonne University only one later. During part of the time Kayla was completing her Master’s, she would drive to Taylorville to help Tyler with Behind Locked Doors. Once she completed the degree, she eventually moved to Taylorville full time! At Behind Locked Doors, Kayla loves crafting mind-bending puzzles and clues alongside Tyler. But her favorite part? Seeing the excitement on players' faces as they solve the mysteries they’ve created. Kayla's passionate about creating immersive worlds where players can escape reality and have fun. She can't wait to see what the future holds for Behind Locked Doors and is excited to be a part of it. |
